I love to read, but I also love watching television (too much). I've been married too many years to be considered a newlywed, but still feel like I'm figuring out what it means to be married. I'm a mom to a destructo-toddler. Just like him, I get cranky when I need a snack. NYC and Baltimore are my favorite cities. R.E.M. is my favorite band. I overthink nearly everything. I will never understand the appeal of heated seats. I could never own too many pairs of Mary Janes. I write to help myself stay (relatively) sane. If I didn't already have a baby, I would call my iPad my baby. I’m not a fan of big surprises, but I do love little ones. I start too many sentences with the first person pronoun.

Apparently, I also love to stare off into the distance.
